The Waterdown Farmers' Market welcomes you back for its 11th Season with local entertainment, guest speakers and the Flamborough Horticultural Society Spring Plant Sale.

This time of year several farm vendors will have seedlings available to start your own gardens for the summer. Get advice to plant crops and tips you need to grow successfully straight from our farmers.

June 1 - TOp Hat Marching Band

The fanfare of the start of the season continues June 1st with a special appearance by the Top Hat Marching Orchestra. 

In concert they play it all, from big band to rock, jazz, and classical favourites. The Top Hats love to entertain and, since 1982, have had rave reviews from audiences in cities across Canada, the US, and even Bermuda.

​They'll have a booth where you can meet them too, and are recruiting new players to join their marching queue.

Waterdown Museum of Hope

Step inside the Legion and take a tour back in time as part of your market visit. The museum will be staffed and open to the public from 10 AM - 2 PM. 

The Waterdown Museum of Hope’s mission is to deliver captivating stories that have been meticulously researched by students, providing an enriching and educational experience for all. With a respectful approach, they strive to showcase the power of storytelling in promoting understanding, tolerance, and compassion within our community and beyond.

June 22 - CHAIRING IS CARING KICKOFF

​The Waterdown Village BIA is launching ‘Chairing is Caring’ – an exciting downtown art project celebrating local artists and telling stories of the diverse communities they represent.

20+ Muskoka chairs will be painted and placed in ‘outdoor gallery’ locations at sponsor businesses throughout the BIA starting in July 2024.

JuNE 29 - CANADA DAY Weekend

Start off your Canada Day by celebrating the bounty of food that is produced on this great land. Pick up some red and white themed treats, and Canadian classics like bacon and maple syrup.

We're open and ready to feed your needs you while other places are taking the day off.

Kids can get crafty and enjoy activities from Waterdown Village Chiropractic and Wellness Group in the Kids' Corner.

July 13- KIDS SHOP DAY

Bozek Milligan Orthodontics returns to the Waterdown Farmers' Market to present the first 100 children aged 3-12 with $5 in Bozek Milligan ‘Market Bucks’ to spend as they choose at the Market! This is an excellent opportunity for young ones to learn about local farms, and small batch producers and the products they make. They will also learn the value of money and how to make choices with a budget.

Meet the team at Bozek Milligan – our local Waterdown Village orthodontists and learn how they can keep you and your kids smiling for years to come.

Don’t forget to stop by the Kids’ Corner, and activity area as we’ll be all setup for a day of fun games and crafts!
Market Bucks will only be valid on July 13th, 2024, and will be handed out on a first come, first served basis.
